The city of Lawrence, Ma. is restoring a fine old 150 yr house the original owner was one Orange Wheeler who was born in Westminster,Ma. son of Josiah & Betsey Puffer on 4/24/1821. While residing in Lawrence he was in the employ of the B & M railroad. He moved to Worcester and was in the employ of his uncle Lewis Wheeler in the family business J.S.Wheeler & Co. Hermon St, Worcester. Orange was active in the Piedmont Cong Ch. of Worcester. He died ll/29/1882 leaving a widow and two daughters. The house will be named the Orange Wheeler house.
