Mount Pleasant Home is a licensed Level IV rest home for elders 62 years old and above. We are a perfect option for seniors who need just a little help, not a nursing home. We offer a safe, warm, nurturing environment where elders can live as independently as possible. Enjoy your privacy while living in a small community of 60 residents, with plenty of opportunities to socialize as you desire. Spend your days doing the things you love without worrying about home upkeep, cooking, cleaning, medications, and loneliness. We take care of all those things plus provide 24 hour staff presence.   There are three tiers of room rates. The standard room rate is $4500 monthly; the enhanced room rate is $4800 monthly; the premium room rate is $5100 monthly. If an applicant does not have assets to pay the private rate, they most often will qualify for a public support program that pays the gap between an applicant’s income (i.e., Social Security, pension, etc) and our monthly charge. Mount Pleasant Home assists the applicant in applying for the available public support programs. Once qualified for one of the public support programs, a resident will be eligible for MassHealth as well. MassHealth provides health insurance coverage to pay medical bills not fully paid by Medicare
