Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Foster Care - Worcester, Waltham

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minors program (URM) of Ascentria Care Alliance is the only program in New England that exclusively assists refugee and migrating youth. The program is responsible for refugee, asylee and trafficked young people under the age of 18 who are in the U.S. with no parent or guardian. Ascentria places the minors in foster care with specially trained families and provides culturally and linguistically appropriate support. We have placed more than 400 unaccompanied minors with foster families in Massachusetts. Currently, over 160 youth are in our care.
