Washington Mills Building No. 1 was once the earliest textile mill in Lawrence, and has now been transformed into a unique and stylish community with tons of character.

Studio, one and two bedroom lofts are designed for open, flexible living and feature quality construction with modern fixtures including oversized windows, in-unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning, exposed brick, original wood beams, and high ceilings. Washington Mills Building No. 1 also has onsite/garage parking, a common lounge with widescreen TV, meeting room, billiards, wet bar, fitness center, controlled access, local art on display, a roof deck with canal views and WiFi access. 1. All pets must be registered with the Management Office. Upon registration, proof of current vaccinations, method of flea control and paperwork from the veterinarian must indicate current and anticipated adult weight and breed. All dogs will be issued a Washington Mills Dog Tag that must be placed on the dog's collar or on the leash to be visible at all times when dog is out of unit. 2. Payment of the pet fee must accompany the registration of the pet. 3. A maximum of two pets will be permitted per apartment. A monthly fee is payable for each dog of $60 and $35 for each cat & other approved pets.
