UVA currently operates a 120-bed transitional shelter for homeless veterans on the campus of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Leeds/Northampton. The Leeds/Northampton shelter has a comprehensive, coordinated network of support services, administering substance abuse treatment, criminal justice outreach and other rehabilitative services to veterans throughout New England.
