Elderly/Handicapped Housing (Chapter 667): Our elderly housing property is located at 155 Marble Street, Lee, MA. It consists of 48 (one-bedroom) units of state-aided housing. Applicants must be 60 years of age or handicapped and meet income eligibility guidelines. Rent is based on 30% of net monthly income. Utilities are included in rent. Family Housing (Chapter 705) Our family property is located at Clarke Court, Lee, MA. There are 8 duplex housing units which consists of a total of 16 units of state-aided housing. There are six, (2-bedroom) and ten (3-bedroom) units. Applicants must meet income eligibility guidelines. Rent is based on 27% of net monthly income and includes water and sewer. Tenants are responsible for utilities. Special Needs Housing (Chapter 689): The housing authority owns two special needs properties that have been designed for the physically and mentally challenged. One property, located at 185 Marble St., Lee, MA is leased by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The other property is located at 150 Laurel St., Lee, MA and is leased by Berkshire County ARC.
