Among other programs, Dracut HA has an 8-person "congregate" program that is actually "partially assisted living" of 12 hours services during the day. It is for both elderly and disabled persons needing visiting services.
Individuals put their names on a wait-list for the housing via the Dracut Housing Authority, and, while, Elder Services oversees the wait-list for appropriateness to the level of care received. Need not be elderly to apply!
Being a small town, there is no public transportation but there is an elderly service agency that runs a van to the property for shopping and medical appointments. Amenities such as laundromat are not specified.
