APrader - Willi Syndrome is a genetic disorder that manifests once in about 15,000 births, in all races and ethnic groups.
Among the more serious symptons are mild to moderate mental retardation, emotional and behavioral problems, and an insatiable appetite and slow body metabolism, which can lead to obesity and related health problems. The Gilbough Center works with this population in four group homes.
