Shadows Shelter

Shadows is a temporary, emergency dry shelter single adult women?s shelter for up to 10 women. Shadows also links the women to the SMOC CRC program which provides them with resources for housing and to find employment to become self-sufficient. The length to stay < 60 days. Women can call the shelter directly to have an intake for a shelter placement. Women who are currently using drugs or alcohol will not be admitted to the shelter. When accepted, shelter clients must be able to pass a drug screen. Shadows provides random drug screens. Please call (508) 231-8710. If a client is coming out of a Detox they should fax over their Psych-Social and latest TB test to 508-231-8713. Advocacy and counseling; 1 meal a day provided. Clothing. Doctor comes once a week. Shares day programs with Wayside shelter. Offers transportation. Has storage facilities. 10 PM curfew.
