Lazarus House Emergency Shelter

Advocacy and limited counseling. Three meals a day. Clothing. Medical and Dental care once a week. Night shelter only/ in at 5, out at 8 AM; must be sober while in facility. 14 is maximum age for males. People thrive in Lazarus House's Emergency Shelter with 7 rooms that include 41 beds and seven cribs in a family-like environment that fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among the household. During this time, guests make huge strides toward learning valuable life skills and putting together a clear set of goals for their future. Lazarus House is the only emergency shelter in the Greater Lawrence area that requires all guests to be free of drug and alcohol use.
