Power Town Apartments was developed in 1983 an Power Town Apartments consists of 10 individual buildings scattered over a four block radius in the Historic district of Turners Falls, one of the five villages in the Town of Montague.
Turners Falls is located at a bend in the Connecticut River, an area rich in archaeological history. In the 1800's, Turners Falls was a town of mills and factories located along the river, all powered by diverting the river into a canal that ran turbines to generate electricity. The name "Power Town" was most likely derived from this early history.
Today, Power Town Apartments is an 82 apartment home community of one, two and three bedroom homes. Heat and hot water are included in the rental rates
