Joy Street Residence (HIV)

Every bathroom has grab bars, larger doors, but no wheelchair units on the first floor. There is a thorough screenign process of six months of sober clean time. They look carefully at CORI's in the last five years, but can make exceptions.

The Joy Street Residence is located near stores and all forms of transportation. The program consists of six studios, ten one-bedroom apartments, and four two-bedroom apartments. All units have kitchens and full bathrooms. There are additional bathrooms in the building. Each unit has an emergency pull cord and is accessible to persons with disabilities. The building has an elevator and coin-operated laundry facilities. There is a community dining room, kitchen, living room, meeting room, and a roof deck.
