Metro 9 Artist Housing

Somerville Community Corporation owns and manages 5 affordable apartments designated for certified artist located in the Metro 9 development at 9 Medford St. in Somerville. We are now accepting applications from income-eligible, certified artists for a one-bedroom apartment (unit 706) that is currently available and to create a waitlist for the 4 other artist apartments that will become available in the future. Applicants must be under 50% or 80% of area median income (AMI), be certified artists, and meet household size requirements.

Apartments vary in size, but they all have high ceilings and large windows, modern finishes and appliances, in-unit washer & dryer, access to common lounge space, common roof deck, and common artist gallery/studio space. Utilities (heat/hot water and electricity) are not included in rent. Parking space costs $50 per month.
