Midway Studios - Live/Work Loft Spaces for Artists

Midway Studios comprises approximately 200,000 square feet in three contiguous renovated warehouse buildings located at 15 Channel Center Street (formerly Midway Street). Midway Studios is home to 89 artist live / work lofts, as well as, commercial offices, a café and a performing arts center. The loft apartments range in size from 914 to 1,350 square feet, and offer a variety of floor plans, including duplex lofts. All of the loft homes have fully applianced kitchens and baths, and feature individually controlled heating and air conditioning. The community features on-site management and 24 hour emergency maintenance. The purpose of this building is to create a space where artists can do work, and live, affordably.

It is the size of these studios and facilities, unusual and increasingly difficult to find in an urban environment, that enable the creation of works that otherwise might not have been created.

Midway fosters collaborations across disciplines which otherwise might not have occurred. By all living and working under one roof, and being in Fort Point, unique opportunities are conferred to the artists in this building.

Affordable Work-Live Rental Studios regularly become available and come in a variety of sizes and configurations ranging from 900 sq. ft. to 2300 sq. ft., and a variety of rental rates depending on your financial situation.

Loft homes at Midway Studios are available only to certified artists across a range of incomes.
