Belmont Chambers

Belmont Chambers, located in Boston's Fenway neighborhood, was created by a non profit community organiztion to provide long-term affordable housing for moderate-income people. . Applicants must be residents of Massachusetts, be willing to share home ownership responsibilities, live in the unit, have an excellent credit/payment history and a five year full-time work history. there is a monthly Carrying charge that includes heat, AC, hot water, and other amenities.

To be eligible, your total household income must meet moderate income guidelines (currently between $52,000 and $152,400) and you must not hold mortgages on or titles to any properties. Other restrictions apply. The housing Cooperative was created by a non-profit community organization to provide safe, clean, long-term affordable housing ownership for moderate-income individuals whose housing needs cannot be met in the current market. Applications are reviewed with this goal in mind.
