Hamel Mill Lofts

For more than 50 years, the buildings of the L.H. Hamel Leather Company were at the epicenter of the footwear revolution. Today, the same structures have been restored and re-purposed as the Hamel Mill Lofts.
The four buildings have undergone a renovation to create loft apartments. Built with an eye toward green development that offers three unique finish options, energy-saving appliances and systems, services and amenities designed to meet the needs of residents. Hamel Mill Lofts is helping revitalize Haverhill's city center into a 24-hour urban neighborhood.
