Fitchburgh/Gardner HA Supported Housing Program

This new program is available to those residents of both the Gardner Housing Authority's Church Street development and the Fitchburg Housing Authority's Day Street complex. It offers Assisted-Living type services in a public housing setting. A Personal Care Homemaker is on-site twenty-fours a day, seven days a week. She is able to respond to after hour?s non-medical emergencies. A daily meal is provided. A Supportive Housing Coordinator is available at the site five days a week to assist residents with their problems or questions. People living there can be reminded to take their medicines. Special activity programs, trips, and speakers enrich the socialization of the residents
