If chosen for this program, the client receives a voucher to use for rent subsidy when finding an apartment.
The client agrees to meet weekly and follow a contract (set up with their case manager) that focuses on dealing with their disabliity (i.e. mental/physical/substance abuse) as well as addressing the issues that could lead to future homelessness.
This is based on where the client finds housing. For example, if they need a handicap ramp, that would be addressed during the housing search.
