Program Details

NSCAP will provide temporary rental assistance to families for up to 12 months. Participants will pay 30% of their adjusted monthly income towards rent and NSCAP will cover the remainder of the contract rent. This will not include first and last months' rent payments, security deposit payments or damages payments, which will remain the responsibility of the participant.

To be eligible, the participant must have the following:

1. Be income eligible:
1 Person=$ 36,750; 2 People=$ 42,000; 3 People=$47,250; 4 People=$ 52,500.

2. Have a family member who is HIV+ or has an AIDS diagnosis.

3. Must already have a tenancy in one of the following HOME
Consortium communities: Amesbury, Beverly, Boxford, Danvers,
Essex, Gloucester, Haverhill, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea,
Marblehead, Merrimac, Methuen, Middleton, Newburyport, North
Andover, North Reading, Peabody, Rockport, Rowley, Salem,
Salisbury, Swampscott, Wenham, West Newbury and Wilmington.
