MBHP runs many programs: shelters, vouchers. They have mobile vouchers and also have 'first rights' to some scattered units in some apartments buildings around the Boston area (project based rentals). MBHP's newest program, Homes for Good, connects low- and moderate-income first-time home buyers with affordable home ownership opportunities in Greater Boston. Prospective home buyers must complete an application, be pre-approved for a mortgage, and have a maximum household income of no more than 80 percent of the area median income. Most of the homes are located in Arlington, Bedford, Chelsea, North Reading, Wakefield, and Wilmington.
Pblic transportation for the shelter is available.
