Grace House - Amherst

9-12 month program for sobriety for recovering women with children. Referred through The Institute for Health and Recovery/Boston @617-661-3991; or The Center for Human Development, 413-253-5155 Advocacy, Counseling, and Referral. 9 - 12 month stay. Grace House is a residential treatment program for homeless, addicted women and their children. The program offers intensive intervention and support services. These include involvement in twelve-step fellowships, psycho-education, parenting skills, life skills, budgeting, and case management. The program includes an aftercare component, which assists the family in its transition to independent living. The Program Director is Cathy Bennett.
